Ted Branch consults with the armed services, major defense contractors, and other businesses in high technology areas including cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence, aviation, and training systems.
As senior vice president and general manager of the Navy and Marine Corps business for Peraton, Vice Admiral Branch led more than 4,000 professionals providing mission critical information technology services under the $800M+/year Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract. Since 2021, he has counseled Cubic Advanced Training Systems, data and cybersecurity companies Shift5 and BigID, and the Fixed Base Operator Million Air—all about bringing more warfighting capability to the Navy and Marine Corps.
Vice Admiral Branch joined private industry following more than 37 years of Navy service with his last assignment as the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare and the Director of Naval Intelligence. A naval aviator, he commanded Strike-fighter Squadron 15, USS Coronado, USS Nimitz, Carrier Strike Group One, and Naval Air Force Atlantic
He has continued to find ways to give back to those still serving. He is on the board of directors of Navy Mutual, chairman of the Tailhook Educational Foundation board, and vice chairman of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation in Pensacola, Florida.
Education
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Branch earned a master’s degree in international relations from the Naval War College in Newport, RI and completed executive education at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School.
