Career Assignments

Machael Heise joined Navy Mutual Aid Association in 2024 as the Director of Product Development and Training. In 2025, Ms. Heise was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where she is responsible for the employees and work products of New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Customer Service, Inforce Operations (Member Services), and Business Process Improvement Teams.

Ms. Heise comes to Navy Mutual with over 25 years of insurance industry experience focused on operations and compliance, having worked at a major carrier, as a consultant, and at an insurtech start-up. Ms. Heise has been a long-time member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) and served on the Western Chapter board for several years.

Education

Ms. Heise majored in English Literature at the University of La Verne and holds certificates in Project Management from the University of Colorado and Business Recovery/Disaster Response from FEMA.
