Arlington, VA – (July 9, 2015) Navy Mutual’s member testimonial, “John’s Story”, a two minute video produced by White+Partner, was named a Bronze winner in the 36th Annual Telly Awards in the film/video corporate image category.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos, and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
A distinguished panel of more than 650 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly, judged the competition from nearly 12,000 entries.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Navy Mutual’s video produced by White+Partners illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
Navy Mutual’s award winning testimonial, John's Story, is the story of John Day, a thirty year member of Navy Mutual who describes the trust he has for Navy Mutual and appreciation for its charter to serve its members and provide counseling. Day shared his positive experience working with Navy Mutual throughout his naval career and when prompted by life events to review his coverage and long term plans to ensure his family was protected.
“We are very proud that one of the first stories of this year-long marketing campaign was awarded a Telly,” said Jack McVeigh, Vice President of Membership, Navy Mutual. “It reaffirms that our commitment to member service produces the best spokespersons for Navy Mutual.”
Navy Mutual is a not for profit, low-cost provider of insurance protection products to members and families of the United States uniformed services -- serving active, reserve, and retired members of the military services as well as the U.S. Public Health Service, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
