Career Assignments Include:  Senior Lecturer at Naval Post Graduate School; previously, VP, Corporate Strategy, Northrop Grumman Corporation; retired from U.S. Navy after 36 years of commissioned service, including 10 years, senior Pentagon positions, most recently as Principal Deputy Director, Program Analysis and Evaluation, Office of the Secretary of Defense; Joint Staff, Deputy Director, Force Structure, Resources, and Requirements; and Director of the Operations Division, Fiscal Management and Budget, Department of the Navy; previously, commanded Submarine Squadron Four in Charleston, S.C., and nuclear-powered submarines USS Chicago and USS Houston;  engineer officer, nuclear-powered submarine; and Congressional Liaison Officer, Department of the Navy. 

Education: B.S., Electrical Engineering, U.S. Naval Academy; M.S., Electrical Engineering, Naval Postgraduate School.  Received the Department of Defense Distinguished Service Medal and the U.S. Navy Distinguished Service Medal.
